Shield – Direct vat inoculation
Shield’s pH range offers a novel approach to the control of yeasts & moulds.
By the stressing of various bacteria’s at certain PH levels, It has been found that it’s possible to control the growth various contaminants & spoilage organisms. This method on control also comes with serval advantages, the first being able to claim a clean label. The second is the ease of use in production, this comes from shield using a direct vat inoculation method. Finally you have a easily documentable process showing control methods within the production flow.

A recent addition to the Shield range is “No Blow” a clean label, direct vat inoculation method of controlling late stage blowing without the use of Lysozyme. No Blow is primarily used as a control method in medium & long maturation cheeses.

Protect – Direct vat inoculation

Which is an easy to use direct vat inoculation control method, offering a clean label & documentable control of Listeria monocytgenes.
